Elmar du Plessis

Obtained a BA degree in Culture Studies and later an Honours degree in History at the University of the Free State. In 2007 she took up a post as Collections Manager in the National Museum’s Collections Management Department: Humanities.

Her field of interest includes the cultural history of the Free State, in particular the tangible objects linked to it, as well as the broader military history of southern Africa.
