Scary monsters, zombies, pumpkins and candy…it must be Halloween. In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, we profile some of our scary looking friends from nature.
Today is a day dedicated to the celebration of our cold-blooded friends. We also use the day to educate and raise awareness of reptiles and the threats to their natural habitats.
Theme: Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future
The National Museum recognised its educators in celebration of World Teachers’ Day 2020. The Day is celebrated internationally on 5 October 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on our educators as the schools were mostly closed during lockdown.
The National Museum celebrated Peer Review Week from 21 – 25 September 2020. This year the theme is ‘Trust in Peer Review’. The National Museum has a number of scientist on our team that conduct peer reviews for both national and international journals.
