Ancilia van Staden and Patrys Meyer hosted an Animal Fun holiday programme during the school holidays to celebrate the Museum’s 140th birthday.

The Education Department was invited to take part at the Twellopele Branding Enterprise Annual Career Exhibition with our Mobile Museum.

During two weeks in May the Education Department presented a programme on multiculturalism to (mostly) previously disadvantaged schools in the greater Bloemfontein/Mangaung area.

This event at Bensonvale College in Sterkspruit was hosted by the Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture – Eastern Cape. The Museum’s Education Department  was represented by Andries Makwae and Patrys Meyer, and our Mobile Museum.
