A species of burrowing wolf spiders has been described from Iran. Lycosa aragogi was named after Aragog, the famous gigantic spider from the ‘Harry Potter’ book series by JK Rowling (see especially ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’). 
The name was given due to the similarities between this species and the fictional Aragog, which is actually based on a wolf spider. The most well known spider in this genus, is the type species, Lycosa tarantula.
