ABSTRACT
The pseudoscorpion family Geogarypidae of South Africa was revised. Prior to this study the family consisted of eight species in two genera (Afrogarypus Beier, 1931 and Geogarypus Chamberlin, 1930).

Die oproer in 1925 in Waaihoek, Bloemfontein se tradisionele swart woonbuurt, as gevolg van sosiaal-ekonomiese probleme, waarvan veral die loonkwessie uitgestaan het,ย word gewoonlik as een van die heftigste van sy tyd in die Oranje-Vrystaat beskou en het in die teken gestaan van die algemene onrus wat landwyd geheers het.
