During two weeks in May the Education Department presented a programme on multiculturalism to (mostly) previously disadvantaged schools in the greater Bloemfontein/Mangaung area.

This event at Bensonvale College in Sterkspruit was hosted by the Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture – Eastern Cape. The Museum’s Education Department  was represented by Andries Makwae and Patrys Meyer, and our Mobile Museum.

Khotso Pudomo (2nd from right) of the History Department attended the academic writing workshop of the Southern African Museums Association at KwaMuhle Museum in Durban in October.
